About Us...

»HeineBuch« used to be part of the Heinrich Heine Buchhandlung in Hamburg. Since April 2003 we have been an independent antiquarian mailorder bookshop working from a large cellar located opposite the Hamburg University campus. We specialize in scholarly books with main focus on Philosophy, Philology, Antiquity, History and Natural Science.

Our catalogue is listed on the internet platform ZVAB and will be updated once a week. Recent acquisitions are listed under the section »Neueingänge«. Each month you will find a selection of a certain topic under »Auswahl des Monats«.

Once a year we leave the cellar to exhibit at the antiquarian book fair Quod Libet in Hamburg. We display a wide range of our stock and usually bring some unusual books which need to see the public and hopefully end up in the hands of a collector.
